A fresh set of Lebanon photo hoaxes was reported by
Yedioth Ahronot* newspaper, summarizing the investigations of several bloggers.
Drinking From Home discovered
two photos of the same woman, dramatically decrying the destruction of her home.
The first photo was taken July 22:

Note that this woman has a depression or dimple in her cheek.
Now here is dimples mourning the destruction of her second home presumably, in a photo taken on August 5 in what is evidently another location.

Same woman, same dimple. BBC was quite impressed with "dimples" and her grief. She figured prominently in reportage of the Hezbollah "militants," but even BBC was forced to pull the photo eventually . Strangely, BBC is reporting today about the arrest of militants who wanted to blow up airliners, but the BBC did not call them militants. In violation of their own stated policy, they headlined: 'Airlines terror plot' disrupted.
The blog USS Neverdock> discovered two photos of the same event, labelled differently. AFP claims that this photo shows a missile attack of the evil Zionists on Tyre

But rockets that are not returning from outer space don't burn up in that dramatic way. Those rockets seem to be departing, not arriving. Reuters captions a similar photo correctly as showing rockets being fired from Tyre.

Why do the media persist in peddling Hoax-bull-ah instead of reporting the news?
