Transcript of Usama Bin Laden Tape 09/07:UBL's New Year's Gift to the Jews:

The transcript of Osama Bin Laden's recent remarks is a gift to the Jewish people for our new year. Osama has sent a message to the Western World. The message is: "It's not about the Jews, Stupid, and it's not about Israel, It's about YOU."

Usama invites Americans to convert to the religion of peace. He offers low taxes, reminding people that the Zakah tax is only 2.5%. Of course if you choose to remain a dhimmi, you will not have to pay the Zakah at all, but you will have to pay the Jizya tax. Still, it is something to consider, as even that would not be much more than capital gains tax, and it applies to all sorts of income. Even the income you will make producing Burqas. More boon to Republicans: Radical Muslims are not big on birth control and they have no use for women's liberation, evolution, gay people and gay marriages either. And you get to have 3 (three) wives.

Israeli air incursion in Syria

Two major questions form the puzzle of the Israeli air incursion in Syria. The first, is why Israel chose to risk US wrath by disturbing the peace before the upcoming November summit, and the second is why Israel is keeping mum about the target.

Speculation regarding the Israeli air-incursion in Syria is rife. Various articles claim that Israel attacked Iranian targets in Syria Israel attacked nuclear targets in Syria and Israel attacked missile batteries brought to Syria from Iran.

Mearsheimer and Walt's "Israel Lobby" is too much for critics of Israel too

Richard Cohen, who once argued that that the creation of Israel was a mistake, has now taken on Mearsheimer and Walt's Israel Lobby, in Rationalizing Israel Out of Existence. Surprisingly, he doesn't like the book. Those who insist, like Cohen, that the creation of Israel was a mistake, should love this book. But Cohen tells us:

Young people and Israel: Right wing Jews are not pro-Israel

The news about North American immigration to Israel is wonderful, but let's face it, "wonderful" is relative. 3,200 immigrants a year, or even 10,000 a year, is just a tiny drop in the relatively big bucket of American Jews. At the rate of even ten thousand a year, it would take 80 years just to bring back to Israel the same number of Israelis who now live in North America.

This is what a Zionist looks like

Here is a bit more about one of my favorite subjects - new immigrants to Israel from North America. Yes, they are still only a little band, and yes the majority of the immigrant families are orthodox Jews (not all), but there were also a record 96 single people on that plane which took off on Labor Day. Most of them are not orthodox.
