Jerusalem Armistice Lines, 1949 |
Below is a map of central Jerusalem, showing the 1949 armistice lines and details of the no-man's land between Israel and the Kingdom of Jordan. The armistice lines were based on the UN Cease Fire lines of November, 1948. The armistice agreement with Jordan states explicitly that the lines drawn are not de jure agreed international boundaries, This version shows only the middle of the map with the armistice lines themselves.
